Volunteers included former Montana State Senator Greg Hinkle, who in 2011, stood alone to oppose legalization in Montana. His leadership was a key reason for the defeat of SB 167, which had sought to legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia in Montana.
Since then, bills seeking to legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia in Montana have repeatedly failed.
