Doctors Sue CDC Over Childhood Vax Schedule, Demanding Proof It Does More Good Than Harm

https://www.theblaze.com/news/doctors-sue-cdc-over-childhood-vax-schedule-demanding-proof-it-does-more-good-than-harm

Joseph MacKinnon August 24, 2025

The doctors want the recommendations reclassified so they no longer operate as 'binding national mandates.'

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. indicated during a congressional hearing in June that kids "get 69 to 92 jabs" by the time they are 18 years old. Now, two doctors are working to change the burden of proof from on the patients who are subjected to them, to on the government agencies that effectively demand them.

Tony Lyons, president of MAHA Action, told Blaze News that the "vaccines have never been properly tested, either individually, in groupings, or as the full schedule, so no one can honestly say that they are not linked to the chronic disease epidemic."

HHS Revives Task Force on Safer Childhood Vaccines

WASHINGTON DC — The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) today announced the reinstatement of the Task Force on Safer Childhood Vaccines, a federal panel created by Congress to improve the safety, quality, and oversight of vaccines administered to American children.

"By reinstating this Task Force, we are reaffirming our commitment to rigorous science, continuous improvement, and the trust of American families," said National Institutes of Health (NIH) Director Jay Bhattacharya. "NIH is proud to lead this effort to advance vaccine safety and support innovation that protects children without compromise."

The original Task Force was disbanded in 1998, and today's action reaffirms the Department's commitment towards continuous improvement in childhood vaccine safety oversight. The Task Force is represented by senior leadership from NIH, the Food and Drug Administration, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The NIH Director will serve as Chairman of the Task Force.

Letter to the Editor: Euphemisms Abound

To the Editor:

We wish to respond to Dr. Barry Perlman’s letter to the editor: “A vote for Medical Aid in Dying is not a vote for suicide” (May 28, 2024) He presents his case well. However, we take issue with his reasoning.

Euphemisms abound about this subject: physician-assisted suicide, death with dignity and physician-assisted dying. No matter how the concept is dressed up, it is suicide by the patient and murder by the doctor. Whoever else has been directly or indirectly involved in the demise of the patient are accessories.

New York Bar Association and Medical Society Ignore Dangers of Legalized Assisted Suicide

By Lisa Blumberg (author pictured here).

The New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) adopted a resolution in 2023 that supports the provisions of the assisted suicide bill before the legislature. This position is based on a report by its Task Force on Medical Aid in Dying. The report is extensive but seems more of defense of assisted suicide rather than a balanced inquiry into the myriad issues raised by its legalization.

My Personal Experience With Assisted Suicide

By Margaret Dore

In another life, I talked three young men down from suicide.

What I think happened is that a final exit network type person had given them my phone number by mistake. This was before the age of caller ID.

I was contacted by each of the three young men over a period of time, each one wanting assistance to kill himself.

Petition Denied

By Margaret Dore

On January 23, 2024, the Supreme Court of New Jersey denied a petition for certification in Petro et al v. Platkin. The Court stated:

"A petition for certification of the judgment in A-003837-19 having been submitted to this Court, and the Court having considered same;

It is ORDERED that the petition for certifications is denied with costs."

On the plus side, I think that we all learned a lot and will continue to do so. Special thanks to E. David Smith and his clients for seeing this matter to the end.

Supreme Court of New Jersey: No Word Yet

On June 6, 2023, attorney Margaret Dore filed an amicus brief in the Supreme Court of New Jersey, seeking to overturn Petro v Platkin, 472 N.J. Super. 536, 277 A.3d 480 (2022). Dore's brief also supports the petitioners, including Dr. Joseph Glassman, MD, pictured here.

Dore and the petitioners seek to overturn New Jersey's Medical Aid in Dying for the Terminally Ill Act, as unconstitutional. The Act legalized aid in dying, previously known as assisted suicide, physician-assisted suicide and euthanasia.

The Act allows these practices on both a voluntary and involuntary basis. The Supreme Court has not ruled as to whether it will take the case. The case was previously titled Glassman v. Grewal and also Petro v Grewal.

Off Topic: My Best Friend Zena

By Margaret Dore

Kalispell Montana.  Approximately two years ago, my friend, Dr. Annie Bukacek, purchased a dog for protection, naming her Zena. It soon became apparent that Zena was a different kind of dog. For whatever reason, she never learned her name, but she knew when we were talking about her. She was smart, silly and very social.

Zena loved to make friends with the people who came to Annie’s office. Sometimes they brought her treats. She made friends [with me] at the local Starbucks, meaning more treats. She reached out to a lonely woman at the bank, making the woman’s day.

Welcome

Theresa Schrempp, Esq.
Thanks to the generosity and leadership of attorney Theresa Schrempp, we formally launched this website for the Foundation for Choice is an Illusion, a 501c(3) nonprofit corporation, in November 2017.

“Why did we found the Foundation for Choice is an Illusion?” said Schrempp, “Because the more people know about assisted suicide and euthanasia, the less they like it."

"Through the Foundation, we educate the public and expose the false promise of ‘choice’ promoted by assisted suicide/euthanasia advocates."

Donations may be tax deductible. Consult your tax advisor regarding your particular situation.

Who We Are and What We Do

Northwest Montana Fair
The Foundation for Choice is an Illusion is a 501(c)3 public charity opposed to assisted suicide and euthanasia.
In states such as Oregon and Washington, where assisted suicide and/or euthanasia is legal, the laws apply to people with years to live. The laws also provide cover for murder by requiring that deaths be reported as "Natural" no matter what the facts and without even a hint that the actual cause of death was assisted suicide or euthanasiaSuicide contagion is also a problem.

Thank You to Our Volunteers

Margaret Dore at the Fair
Thank you to our volunteers who braved the smoke to join us at the 2018 Northwest Montana Fair in Kalispell.

We educated the public about problems with legalization, including how people with years to live are encouraged to throw away their lives, and fatal elder abuse.

Thanks especially, to everyone who worked the table, including Lucinda Hardy of Columbia Falls, Gail Bell of Bozeman and Linda Clark of Seattle. To read Lucinda's story, click here. To read Gail's story, click here.

Thank you to the Darren A. Lyles Memorial Fund

Darren Lyles
In July 2000, Darren Lyles and his wife, Maribeth, were a happy married
couple, who had just moved into a new home with their two baby girls.

On July 12th, Darren woke up with a headache, took a migrane medication and went back to sleep. A few hours later, Maribeth, found him with his right side stationary. A former lifeguard, she immediately concluded that he had had a stroke and called 911.

The hospital staff instead focused on the possibility of an overdose, testing him for drugs. They also did a spinal tap and gave him blood thinner. Frustrated, Maribeth exclaimed “Why aren’t you doing a brain scan?”

In Oregon, Other Suicides Have Increased with the Legalization of Physician-Assisted Suicide

By Margaret K. Dore, Esq.

Since the passage of Oregon’s law allowing physician-assisted suicide, other suicides in Oregon have steadily increased. This is consistent with a suicide contagion in which the legalization of physician-assisted suicides has encouraged other suicides. In Oregon, the financial and emotional impacts of suicide on family members and the broader community are devastating and long-lasting.[1]

Minnesota: Margaret Dore Beats the Odds

Hamline Mitchell panel

Click here to watch video
With the odds stack against her, Margaret Dore, Esq., MBA did an admirable job educating attendee's at an "End of Life Options Discussion Panel" sponsored by Mitchell Hamline Law School's Health Law Society in Saint Paul, Minnesota on Thursday evening.

The panel was comprised of three supporters of the Minnesota End of Life Options Act and Ms. Dore, who alone stood to expose the language of the bill and the reality of what that language has allowed in Washington State, where Ms. Dore is an attorney and president of Choice is an Illusion [and the Foundation for Choice is an Illusion]. Not only was she outnumber[ed] 3 to one on the panel, but pro-assisted death representatives had a fit when Ms. Dore attempted to share documentation for her talk and blocked her from handing it out.

Montana's Law Protected Me

http://missoulian.com/news/opinion/mailbag/physician-assisted-suicide-no-support-from-this-quadriplegic/article_96fd887e-1e47-11e4-8c4c-001a4bcf887a.html

I have read the guest column, "People living with disabilities support death with dignity" (July 25), which advocates for legalizing assisted suicide and/or euthanasia for the disabled. I could be described as such a person and this opinion does not speak for me. I am strongly against legalizing these practices.
